mvsu business education building

The Department of Business Administration has a rich pool of human and physical resources, facilities and computer labs to provide a stimulating business training environment. The key to those resources is the knowledgeable and dedicated faculty members who are committed to providing quality instruction to the students.

Based on expanding enrollemnt at the University, increased enrollment in the Business Administration curriculum and with advanced projection for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, the new Business Education Building was envisioned.

Constructed on the site of the former business building, the $10.6 million facility has six classrooms that seat 50 students, one 75 student classroom, two computer labs with seating for 40, an 150-seat tiered presentation auditorium, an office administration lab, reading room, student lounge, workrooms, and faculty and adminstrative offices.

This new structure stands as a symbol of the progress and the readiness of MVSU to provide its students optimal learning opportunities. It is testimonial to the cooperative effort of the University, the Institutions of Higher Learning Board of Trustees, the Bureau of Buildings, Grounds and Real Property Management, and the Mississippi Legislature who have worked together to bring the new Business Education Building (BEB) to a state of reality.
