The Department of Business Administration offers undergraduate and graduate programs: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. For the BS degree, students may major in two areas: Accounting and Business Administration. For full-time working adult learners, we offer the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Organizational Management concentration.
Each student, with the assistance of an assigned advisor, is responsible for selecting course work that will satisfy the requirements for the degree program chosen. In pursuing the MBA degree, students can choose concentrations in the areas of Management and Finance.
Mississippi Valley State University’s Department of Business Administration is internationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
In the coming years, we hope to increase the number of faculty and fields of strength, and to enhance our academic programs and collaboration with other units at MVSU. Both on the graduate and undergraduate levels, our goal is to increase the range of concentration offerings. We are developing programs to help our students compete for leading internships and private sector jobs.
It is an exciting time for MVSU and the Department of Business Administration. We look forward to your matriculation with us!
