James Herbert White Library

Welcome to the James H. White Library

The library is named in honor of Mississippi Valley State University’s founding father and first president, Dr. James Herbert White.

The mission of the James H. White Library is to enhance access, collect, organize and maintain a print and non print collection that supports the university’s mission of research, teaching and learning, and service through the development of collections, access services and effective delivery of services.
The library has as its goals the following:

  • To collect and provide access to print and non-print research materials
  • To provide instruction in the use of traditional library collections and new technological information resources through an innovative user access education program
  • To provide optimal efficient delivery

Hours of Operation Easter Break (March 29 & 31, 2024)

Friday   March 29th       CLOSED

Sunday  March 31st        CLOSED 

Monday April 1st             7:30am - 10:00pm

 

Hours of Operation (SPRING 2024) 

Mondays - Thursdays: 7:30am - 10pm 

Fridays:  7:30am - 4pm  

Saturdays: CLOSED

Sundays: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
