PAYMENTS

All student charges for tuition, room, board, and other fees must be paid in full at registration. The following sources will be accepted as payment:

A.  Financial Aid (loans, grants, scholarships, etc.)

B.  Cash

C.  Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover)

D.  Money Orders, Certified and Personal Checks (Made payable to Mississippi Valley State University)

E. PayMyTuition (International Payments Only) 

F.  Nelnet Enterprise Portal (Online Payments)

G. Graduation Application Fee 

**DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL**

Books and supplies are purchased from the Bookstore and the costs are not part of the fees stated in this announcement. Estimate $1,000.00 per semester ($500 per summer session) for books and supplies.

PAY MY TUITION

With PayMyTuition, you can pay your tuition payments from any bank, in any country in any currency at better than bank exchange rates. PayMyTuition is fast, simple, and cost-effective. 

Step 1: ENTER YOUR INSTITUTION NAME

Go to paymytuition.com. From the drop-down menu, select Mississippi Valley State University, then enter your payment amount and the country for which you are paying.

Step 2: SELECT PAYMENT METHOD

Review the payment options provided and select your preferred payment method. Payment options include bank transfers, debit/credit cards in your home currency, eWallet payments, and other local options.

Step 3: ENTER YOUR DETAILS

Enter some basic information including your student number. We will include this information with your payment for easy identification of your payment by the Mississippi Valley State University team.

Step 4: MAKE YOUR PAYMENT

Follow the instructions provided to send your funds to PayMyTuition via the selected payment method.

Step 5: TRACK & CONFIRM

Track your payment by logging into my PayMyTuition Dashboard anytime. Receive SMS texts, email status updates, and confirmations of when your payment has been delivered.

STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARDS

An MVSU Student I.D. Card, validated for the current registration period, must be presented each time a student requires service from any University office. First-time student I.D. Cards are issued at no charge.

DEFERMENT PAYMENT PLAN

1. All students are expected to pay the full amount of tuition and fees for the term at the time of registration.
2. Resident and non-resident students with zero (0) balance at the time of registration and no evidence of financial aid may choose to pay under the Deferred Payment Plan.
3. Under the Deferred Payment Plan, students must pay one-half (1/2) of the total amount due at registration. The remainder must be paid in two (2) equal installments. For the Fall and Spring semesters, one-half of the remaining balance must be paid within 45 days of registration and the remainder within 90 days of registration.
4. The Deferred Payment Plan is not available during summer sessions.
5. For every transaction under this plan, the deferment of $50 will be assessed.
6. Failure to pay according to the plan will result in the cancellation of registration.

NELNET ENTERPRISE TUITION PAYMENT PLAN

To help meet the educational expenses, Mississippi Valley State University is pleased to offer Nelnet Enterprise as a convenient budget plan. Nelnet Enterprise is a tuition management plan that provides a low-cost option for budgeting tuition expenses. The only cost to budget monthly payments through Nelnet Enterprise is a $95.00 per semester nonrefundable fee. Enrolling online is simple and secure. To sign up for the Nelnet Enterprise payment plan, log on to www.sutton2.mvsu.edu.

• Click on the Nelnet Enterprise Portal
• This takes you to the Nelnet Enterprise Tuition Management website. It should display the amount to be paid. Payment plans or full payments can be made on the account by using Nelnet Enterprise. All payments through Nelnet Enterprise are processed electronically in real-time by using a checking account, Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express. For payment plans, payments are processed automatically on the 5^th  of each month. Deferment and enrollment fees are processed immediately!
