Along with Mississippi Valley State University Community Service Learning Partners, we look forward to helping students realize the difference we can all make in society and that we each have a responsibility as citizens of the world and in our humanity to serve whenever and wherever we are. I fervently hope that students get excited about community service as they each become life-long seekers of ways to serve in the varying communities life will lead them beyond Mississippi Valley State University.
The Office of Community Service Learning strongly encourages students to actively participate in our program not only because community service hours are required to graduate from this fine institution, but most importantly because your community service learning experience will foster development for a lifelong commitment to civic engagement that ultimately leads to a more solidified view of self and purpose.
