The Institute for Effective Teaching Practices (IETP) operates under the College of Education at MVSU. IETP's goals are to provide enhanced services to PK-12 teachers and teacher education programs. IETP is extremely active in providing local Delta Area schools with resources, workshops, technology training, and other professional development opportunities. IETP's primary mission is to facilitate initiatives that strengthens education within the Mississippi Delta.
