Members of the Board Search Committee leading the search for the next president of Mississippi Valley State University will hear from constituency groups in Campus Listening Sessions on Thursday, October 12, 2017. The discussions will center on the qualities and qualifications stakeholders believe the next institutional executive officer should possess.

Students in the Mississippi Valley State community will have the opportunity to get a jumpstart on their professional careers during the university’s “Career Me Please” employer panel discussion and career fair.

The panel discussion will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9 in the Business Education Building. The annual career fair will be held from 10-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the R. W. Harrison Complex. 

STARKVILLE--Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) male athletes have been making big wins inside of the classroom, and they have the trophy to prove it.

MVSU was the recipient of the “David Halbrook Award for Academic Achievement Among Athletes” in the Men’s Public University Division Oct. 3 during the 84th annual Halbrook Awards Luncheon.
