Accessing Support Services and Resources
 
Most of our offices are being staffed by essential personnel and remotely until further notice. Below are instructions for accessing these support services and resources.
 
Academic Advising 
All students are encouraged to reach out to their faculty advisors for advising assistance.  Academic advising is available via email and/or arranged meetings with advisors. First-time transfer students are encouraged to contact University College as their initial point of contact by emailing billy.benson@mvsu.edu
 
Office of Admissions and Recruitment
The Office of Admissions and Recruitment for undergraduate students can be reached by emailing admsn@mvsu.edu. Please visit the undergraduate admissions website for additional information. All graduate student admission questions and concerns can be emailed to shearra.hardwick@mvsu.edu.
 
Office of Student Records
All questions concerning academic records can be emailed to the Director of Student Records at jloggins@mvsu.edu. Various forms that relate to academic records and procedures that are required by the Office of Student Records can be found on the forms webpage of the Office of Student Records. Please note that the last date for withdrawal from a class is April 3, 2020 and from the University, April 9, 2020.
 
Disability Services
Services for students with documented disabilities are coordinated by the Services for Students with Disabilities Office. Please email kbrownlow@mvsu.edu if you need additional assistance and/or information.
 
Financial Aid 
For all financial aid matters please email The Financial Aid Office at mvsufinaid@mvsu.edu or letherio.zeigler@mvsu.edu. The 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available at www.FAFSA.gov. The application can also be completed using the myStudentAid mobile app. Financial aid support is also available 24/7 at Student Aid help at 1-800-433-3243.
 
Library

If you have been using the library for your wi-fi access, a list of the public libraries located in the Mississippi Delta that have open wi-fi access can also be obtained by downloading the information document located on the University’s COVID-19 homepage. 
 
Online/Distance Education – Canvas
The Online/Distance Education Office is available to assist students with Canvas and the transition to online courses. Tutorials and other helpful resources such as login information are available by visiting the Office of Online/Distance Education's webpage. The Online Learning Office can be reached at kenneth.done@mvsu.edu.
 
Student Affairs
