MVSU to host Spring 2018 Career Fair Feb. 20

ITTA BENA, Miss.— Need a job or hoping to land the internship of your dreams? Mississippi Valley State University Career Services Center’s 2018 Spring Career Fair is the place for you!

Hosted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the concourse level of the Harrison HPER Complex, the career fair is free and open to students, alumni and community members.

Over 45 employers have registered to attend the event. Organizers encourage attendees to dress in professional attire.

“This is an excellent opportunity to meet with employers face-to-face to exchange information,” said Essie Bryant, director of the Career Services Center. Employers will be informing students about career paths, employer expectations and professional opportunities.”

In addition to meeting potential employers, attendees will also have the opportunity to polish up their skills with mock interviews conducted by human resource professionals during the event.
