ART PROGRAM

The Art Program of the Fine Arts Department at Mississippi Valley State University provides undergraduate programs in two dimensional design and visual communications, and offers cultural opportunities for the University and the community.  The Art Program's offerings are available to all segments of the population regardless of nationality, race, ethnic background, or religious affiliation.  The Art Program draws the majority of its students, as does the University, from the Mississippi Delta.

The academic program in art provides opportunities for concentrated study in art leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree for two dimensional design and visual communications.  Opportunities to pursue artistic study are also available to non-art majors, pre-college art students, and the general public.
