I applied for the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund (GEER) Summer Grant Program and will receive an award. Will my SUMMER grant be affected by my GEER award?
No. The Summer Tuition Grant will be applied to your student account to cover for Summer 2022 tuition and mandatory fees for up to six (6) credit hours (courses exceeding six (6) credit hours and late registration fees will not be covered). The GEER award will be applied to your student account to cover any outstanding balance for Summer 2022. The GEER award amount is sufficient to fully cover up to three (3) credit hours. If a student enrolls in nine (9) credit hours, the Summer Tuition Grant and GEER award can cover the total cost of those credit hours.

If you have questions regarding your GEER award, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at mvsufinaid@mvsu.edu.
