The MVSU music program has two concert choir opportunities: The University Choir and The Valley Singers. The University Choir is the select Classical Music Choir. Its purpose is to provide a platform for music majors to train to become teachers and instructors, to perform a high level of Classical Choral repertoire, and to offer a place for all students to perform a high standard of choral music. Entrance into University Choir is by audition only.
The Valley Singers is the Premiere Touring group for the university. Their purpose is to be a recruiting tool for the university and to perform a high standard of choral literature. Entrance into Valley Singers is by audition only.
