Performance Management is an important leadership responsibility for managers. The work plan (optional) establishes goals for employees to achieve during the work cycle. The performance appraisal process provides a structured forum to provide constructive feedback and observations to direct reports in regards to their respective work performance during the current appraisal cycle. The program is designed to achieve objectives related to an employee’s general work ethics, capabilities, productivity, strengths, weaknesses and other criteria.
