It performs diverse choral repertoire representing a variety of periods, styles, and languages and offers a place for students to perform a high standard of choral music. This ensemble frequently collaborates with music faculty instrumentalists as well as student dancers and performs approximately 6-8 times per year both on campus and throughout Mississippi.

University Choir has performed works by J.S. Bach, Hailstork, Handel, Lauridsen, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Orff, Rutter, Saint-Saëns, and R. Thompson, and has sung in Chicago, Cincinnati, Jackson (Tenn.), Memphis, New Orleans, Omaha, Seattle, St. Louis, and Vancouver. Overseas destinations have included Brazil and Italy.
