Job Description:

The successful candidate will coordinate Pre-Law/Legal studies degree and serve as University Pre-Law Advisor.  The candidate will be expected to teach courses in Legal Studies.  Courses would include Introduction to Legal Studies, Constitutional Law I & II, Mock Trial and Judicial Process.  The candidate will serve as Coach for the University Mock Trial Team. 

Qualifications Desired:

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science or related field with public law as one of the doctoral subfields.  Candidate should have teaching experience.  Strong recruitment and retention experience will be a plus; ability to teach Political Philosophy is a plus.  For coordinating the degrees and serving as University Pre-Law advisor, the candidate will receive halftime course release.  A successful candidate should have a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service.
