Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Scholarships

Two (2)-year, three (3)-year and four (4)-year merit scholarships are available to student who have a 19 or above ACT score or 800 or above SAT score, and who are strongly motivated toward a career in the United States Army. Each scholarship pays up to $8,000 or a year in tuition and related fees; $450 per year for books, supplies, and equipment; and $150 per month subsistence allowance. Qualified and interested freshman and sophomore students enrolled at the University may make application to the Department of Military Science for the two (2)-year and (3)-year scholarships. Qualified high school seniors who desire to apply for the four (4)-year scholarships should contact high school counselors, Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) instructors, or the Department of Military Science at Mississippi Valley State University to obtain an application. Four (4)-year ROTC Scholarship applications must be mailed prior to November 15 or:
