International Students

International students are required to meet the same admission standards stated above. However, a score of 400 or above is required on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A Certificate of Compliance with Immunization Requirements for College Admission and an affidavit of financial aid are required. Equivalent College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) is also required. Transfer International students must meet the same requirement as in-state transfer students.

First year undergraduate applicants must have received a high school diploma with a B average or above, in laboratory science, social studies, and mathematics. In addition, freshman applicants are required to submit either the American College Test (ACT) score of 21 or above or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score of 970 or above. Transfer applicants who have completed 12 or more hours of university-level academic courses with a B average will not required to take the ACT or SAT and may be awarded transfer credit. Applicants transferring from U.S. institutions must meet the requirements outlined in the section "Admissions of Junior/Community College and other Transfer Students with Advanced Standing." All applicants whose native language is not English are rquired to submit a TOEFL score of 525.

Copes of transcripts, diplomas, and certificates of all previous academic work must be certified and translated into English. The I-20 form, authorizing the student's visa, is sent after the student is accepted.
