New Student Early Registration
We are excited to welcome you to Mississippi Valley State University and the Valley Family!
All incoming new freshmen, transfer and non-traditional students are strongly encouraged to participate in New Student Early Registration. Non-Traditional students are defined as those students who are age 21 and older. During new student early registration you will meet with your academic advisor and register for courses, finalize your financial aid, confirm your resident hall room assignment, pay tuition and fees and accomplish other important business matters to complete your enrollment. You will also have an opportunity to form long-lasting relationships with faculty and staff, make new friends with fellow students and obtain valuable information about our campus social life and culture.
We will host a special “parent homeroom session” during the New Student Early Registration program. This session will equip parents and guardians with the essential tools to partner with the university community and be an informed participant in their sons or daughters academic success at our University.
The program will be held in the William Sutton Administration Building. The check-in time will begin at 7:30 am and the program will start promptly at 9:00 am. It is imperative that you arrive on time to ensure you participate in all activities.
As a friendly, reminder it is important that you visit http://www.mvsu.edu/prospective_students/ and select the Intent To Enroll link to confirm your intent to enroll for fall 2013.
