Dr. Onwubiko Agozino, professor of sociology and Africana Studies in the Department of Sociology at Virginia Tech University will give a lecture on Racial Profiling on Thursday, April 17 in the Social Sciences Auditorium at 7 p.m. Dr. Agozino has published widely on criminological issues. He has also published poetry and plays. His work is especially relevant in addressing the colonial and post-colonial dimensions of crime.
The lecture is sponsored by the Tau Upsilon chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society, along with the Departments of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences.
