Job Description:


Reporting directly to the President, the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management & Diversity is responsible for maintaining overall enrollment while maximizing the quality and diversity.  Essential job functions:  contribute to a data-driven team approach to enrollment management; develop and implement a comprehensive set of initiatives focused on attracting students and meeting enrollment goals; collaborate with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and academic departments to determine and maintain optimal program enrollment consistent with overall University targets; collaborate effectively with the University’s Marketing and Communications team to enhance the university’s brand and visibility; provide leadership and oversight of the institution’s diversity efforts to achieve a sustainable environment that is inclusive and supportive; lead strategic diversity planning efforts, including assessment, evaluation and accountability;  support  and cultivate awareness, appreciation and engagement with diversity and its relevance in a University environment; develop strategic partnerships, alliances and collaborations with key constituencies; and other duties as assigned by the President;  some evening and weekend work is required


Qualifications Required:

This position requires an earned doctoral degree with at least five or more years of experience in the field of enrollment management that includes enrollment planning, admissions, and financial aid; result-oriented leadership with a record of success in growing traditional undergraduate, online and adult/non-traditional enrollment; excellent analytical skills with the ability to utilize data in decision making; exceptional relational skills with faculty, staff, and other constituency groups; commitment to and proven experience in assessment and planning for institutional effectiveness; effective communication skills; and experience in advancing diversity within an Institution of Higher Education and working with diverse cultures and backgrounds
