Job Description:

Coordinates and performs all transportation duties for the department, including coordinating and performing data processing functions for scheduling vehicle utilization; develops procedures for vehicular service and repair; investigates and reports accidents; directs the preparation and submission of monthly, completes quarterly and annually transportation reports; establishes and maintains inventory system of vehicles; develops procedures, prepares and maintain department’s inventory database, and property information; conduct routine operational and preventive maintenance checks related to inspection, testing, cleaning, repairing or replacing defective parts of trucks, tractors, automotive and lawn care equipment; inspect and repair automotive equipment, trucks, tractors, and lawn mower equipment

Qualifications Required :

High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree or some college preferred; one or more years experience in automotive, heavy equipment, and small engine repair; at least 2 years computer experience preferred; possess good verbal and written communication skills
