Job Description:

Recruit and train peer mentors; work with faculty and staff to create programs that foster student leadership and academic success; advise students of career planning, provide student guidance and counseling; monitor and track student academic progression, retention and graduation rates of program participants; promote retention and academic programs; partners with  elementary, middle and high school personnel, community, agency personnel and parents for outreach services

Qualifications Required :

Bachelor of Science Degree in Counseling, Education, Communications or related field; Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, Student Affairs, or higher Education Administration is preferred; strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated skills in relating to and working with students in mentoring and advising in higher education; Must have at least one (1) year of experience
