Job Description:

Administer duties to direct scholarship, grant-in-aid, and loan programs to provide financial assistance to students; lead the back office function in aspects such as student budgeting, student awards and packaging, verification, loans, grants, and scholarships; serve as manager of a team of professionals to ensure compliance with all applicable federal/institutional rules and policies; coordinate activities with the office of fiscal affairs in the distribution and collection of student payments and refunds and reconciling accounts; oversee the financial aid systems, including SCT Banner and EdExpress

Qualifications Required:

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of progressive financial aid experience; must have at least two years of financial aid management experience as an Assistant or Associate Director; knowledge of institutional, federal and state financial aid processes and regulation is required; must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of service to students, as well as evidence of effective use of technology in support of financial aid operations; knowledge of Title III and Title IV funding
