Job Description:

Responsible for assisting in all aspects of coaching softball with an emphasis in pitching, infield, hitting, program planning, organization, and recruitment of student-athletes on national and regional levels; ability to work within the framework of SWAC and NCAA rules and regulations; in cooperation with the Head Softball Coach, the Assistant Coach develops and maintains a system to identify potential recruits and to work closely with area high school coaches and parents to recruit student athletes; works with Head Coach in developing line-up game strategies, and individual work-out and practice needs for student athletes  

Qualifications Required :

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or related field; experience competing at a collegiate level is preferred
