On behalf of the men and women of Mississippi Valley State University Police Department, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our Web site. We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for you to live, work and study. I encourage you as a member of the Mississippi Valley State community, to report any crimes or unusual incidents you observe.
The University is a large and complex environment. Ensuring the safety of the community requires dedicated men and women who are sensitive to the diverse needs of the community. When addressing an issue, I encourage a partnership approach from everyone.
The MVSU Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency that operates an onsite crime prevention unit, patrol unit, and police aide program all of which operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, we maintain excellent working relationships with our law enforcement partners in surrounding jurisdictions.
The men and women of the MVSU Police Department are some of the most dedicated individuals who are committed to making a difference in the community. I encourage you to interact with them. You will find that they provide excellent professional services.
