The MVSU Soccer Program will hold a weekend soccer camp on Saturday April 9, 2011 from 9am-noon. The camp will be located at the MVSU Soccer Field (located at 14000 Highway 82 West • Itta Bena, MS 38941-1400) and will be open for young boys and girls ages 7 to 14. The fee for the camp is $10.00 per player.
The MVSU Soccer Camp is designed for players who want to work on improving their on-the-field skills while having fun playing many different types of soccer-related games. Instruction will be provided by the MVSU soccer coaching staff and players from the MVSU soccer team. The camp will open with the campers working out with selected group coaches in various soccer games. The campers will rotate between stations working on skills scheduled on improving their on-the-field abilities. Camp attendees will also compete in tournament-style play. In addition, specialized training will be offered for players looking to improve their goal-keeping skills.

Running shoes, sun screen and food snack are also suggested. **NOTE: In case of inclement weather, the camp will be moved into the Charles Lackey Gym located in the front of campus.**
MEDICAL CARE: The camp will be supervised by an athletic trainer from the MVSU athletic department.
