This honor bestowed on teams who have an NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) in the top ten (10) percent of all squads in their respective sports.
"This is one of the major focuses of our program off the track," said Danielle Douglas, head women's track and field coach. "The academic success that we have is a direct reflection on the importance of academics in the field of collegiate athletics.
A total of 205 institutions, out of 331 Division I colleges and universities, placed at least one team on the top APR list.
