ITTA BENA -- Falando Jones scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Tuesday, Jan. 3, to lead the Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley State to a 82-67 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Paul Crosby added 21 points and six rebounds as the Delta Devils (2-11, 1-0 SWAC) opened conference play with a victory.

Terrence Crosby and Cor-J Cox added 10 points apiece for MVSU, which shot 48.3 percent from the field.

Savalace Townsend led the Golden Lions (1-13, 0-11 SWAC) with 21 points.

MVSU travels to face Alabama State on Saturday.
