29 Set to Be Inducted Into MVSU Athletic Hall of Fame

Itta Bena, Miss. --- It’s been nine long years since the last time the Mississippi Valley State University Athletic Hall of Fame committee held induction ceremonies.  Tomorrow night the drought will come to an end as 29 MVSU sports stars of yesterday become legends of today when they take their place in the MVSU Athletic Hall of Fame.

Among recognizable names being inducted are current MVSU football coaches Willie Totten and Sam Washington and former NFL greats Jerry Rice and Ashley Ambrose.

Induction ceremonies are set to begin at Friday November 3rd in the H.M. Ivy Cafeteria on the Mississippi Valley State campus.  Tickets are available for $35 at the MVSU cashiers window.
