• Department of Business Administration
  • The mission of the Department of Business Administration is to prepare students for business careers that require decision-making in complex economic settings within dynamic and diverse social, political, and global environments. In view of the business environment from this perspective, the Department of Business Administration helps to prepare students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
• Department of Criminal Justice
  • The Department of Criminal Justice is dedicated to academic excellence and has as its major goal, the educational preparation of undergraduate and graduate students for careers in the criminal justice field, including preparation for further graduate studies.
• Department of Applied Technology
  • The Department of Applied Technology and Technology Management is designed to prepare technical and/or technical management-oriented professionals for employment in the world of work.  The curriculum prepares men and women for technical, managerial, sales, and production supervisory-type positions in the technological areas of business, government and industry.
• Department of Communication
  • The purpose of the Department of Communication is to prepare students for careers in the fields of communication through its curricular offerings in the areas of Broadcasting, Journalism, Public Relations, and Speech Communication. Upon graduation, students should be ready to assume effective roles in professional communication careers, or proceed to graduate school for advanced degrees.
• Department of Social Work
  • The Department of Social Work offers an undergraduate curriculum for students majoring in social work towards the degree of Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). This degree is designed to prepare students for beginning professional social work practice. It prepares generalist social workers who have the professional competencies to provide direct services in a variety of settings with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
• Department of ROTC
  • The Department of Military Science provides students an opportunity to earn a Presidential Commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army or enroll in the United States Army Reserves or Army National Guard after graduation, concurrent with the pursuit of an academic degree.
