- English & Foreign Languages
- Students are exposed to foreign languages and may study Spansish or French, develop their writing skills, increase their appreciation of literature, and develop into creative writers. Majors include: English and English Education
- Fine Arts
- Students may major in Music or Art. Students majoring in Music earn degrees in performance and education. In Art, the emphasis is either painting, visual communication or general art.
- Mathematics and Computer Information Sciences
- The Department of Mathematics and Computer Information Sciences provides assistance to students as they seek to develop professional and occupational competencies in mathematics and computer science. Majors include degrees in mathematics, computer science, and mathematics education.
- Natural Sciences and Environmental Health
- The Department of Natural Sciences and Environmental Health is composed of Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental disciplines. The Department offers degrees in the following areas: (1) Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, Biology Education, Chemistry, and Environmental Health and (2) Master of Science degree in Environmental Health and Bioinformatics.
- Social Sciences
- The Department of Social Sciences seeks to expose students to the social and political aspects that affect their lives at the personal, local, national and world levels. The Department offers five degrees: Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, Bachelor of Science in Social Science Education, Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.
